Endto on ToCharts: Accounts, Credits and Chart Workflows
Understand where Endto sign-in fits into ToCharts. Choose free browser charts or the AI spreadsheet workspace, then check the calculation and exported result.
Endto is the account name you will encounter when using the signed-in AI features on ToCharts. It is not a chart type or a method for validating numbers. If you arrived looking for the product, start by deciding whether you need to plot prepared values or ask a question about a spreadsheet.
Where Endto sign-in fits
The free browser chart makers do not require an account. You can edit a small table, choose an available chart view and download the image. The AI spreadsheet workspace is different: it runs a task using your files and instructions, requires sign-in and uses credits. Entering an account does not turn the free maker into an automated analysis tool.
For the signed-in path, open the spreadsheet workspace. The spreadsheet AI agent and AI spreadsheet generator pages explain that product; the working interface is reached through the workspace. Read the task and credit information shown there before submitting a job rather than assuming a public sample uses the same limits as a real run.
When a free chart is enough
Suppose a report already contains checked monthly totals. You need a visual comparison, not another calculation. The bar graph maker accepts a small table and renders the supplied values. Set a useful title, name the series and state the unit before downloading PNG or SVG.
These makers offer bar, horizontal bar, line, area, pie and donut across their pages. Use categories for comparisons and a sorted time column for trends. Their paste parser is simple: blank numeric cells become zero, and comma-separated text with quoted commas needs care. Do the cleaning in your source sheet first so a missing figure does not quietly become an observed zero.
When the spreadsheet workspace is more appropriate
Choose the AI workspace when the numbers still need preparation: combining tables, grouping orders by month or calculating a rate under a definition you specify. State which date column to use, how refunds should be handled and what to do with repeated order IDs. Different choices can produce different answers from the same file.
The output includes result tables, charts and execution checks. Read the assumptions alongside the result. A calculation assertion confirms a declared condition; a source reconciliation separately recalculates a total under its stated rule. Not every result has an independent reconciliation, and a structural check does not establish that the chosen business definition is correct.
Use the sample to inspect, then test your own question
The public analysis sample shows a fixed example with source data and downloadable results. Use it to see what a table, chart and check record look like together. It does not measure how long your next task will take or guarantee that your files will produce the same type of answer.
For a first real task, ask a narrow question you can verify. A monthly sum from a small file is easier to review than a request to explain the whole business. Compare the row counts and recompute one total before asking a follow-up question or using the result in a report.
Review the handoff, not just the screen
Open the downloaded files. Check column names, units, filters and the chart against the result table, then note the source file and reporting period. A colleague needs those details to reproduce the result after the task is no longer on screen.
Keep the original workbook as well as the exported result. An analysis result workbook is a new deliverable; do not assume it preserves every formula, macro, chart object and formatting rule from the source. The useful handoff is the result plus enough context to check it again.
What this can't do yet
The browser chart makers support bar, horizontal bar, line, area, pie and donut, with no scatter, radar, bubble, gauge or heatmap types. There is no server-side batch chart generation API for the free makers. AI spreadsheet analysis requires EndTo sign-in and credits; a result workbook is not a lossless copy of the original, and passed checks do not establish the business assumptions.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need Endto sign-in just to draw one chart?
No. The free browser chart makers work without an account. The AI spreadsheet workspace is a separate task-based workflow that requires sign-in and uses credits.
Does a passed check prove that the business definition is right?
No. Read what was checked and which assumptions were used. A structural check or calculation assertion does not independently establish that refunds, dates or duplicate records were handled as your business intended.
Can I use the public analysis sample as a speed benchmark?
The sample is a fixed example for inspecting outputs and checks. It does not predict the processing time, file complexity or outcome of a new task using your own data.
Should I replace the original workbook with the result?
Keep both. The result is a new deliverable, and it may not retain every original formula, macro or workbook object. Preserve the source and the instructions needed to reproduce the analysis.
